Cancellation policy (flexible rate):
We hope for your understanding
The existing threat of the Covid-19 virus is now known to everyone. By now, every guest who has booked after 1 April 2020 knows the situation and takes a well-considered risk when he or she books and accepts that this time the risk lies with the guest.
Therefore, we unfortunately do not accept requests for exceptions to the cancellation conditions when the situation arises that guests prefer not to travel anymore or when a (foreign) government issues a negative travel advice for the Netherlands or specifically the region of Zeeland.
This means that the only situation in which the cancellation conditions become null and void is when our accommodations are closed by the government and we are no longer able to provide our services. We also emphasize that in this situation the rental agreement is unilaterally dissolved without the right to replacement accommodation. This is because, due to a force majeure situation, it is no longer possible to provide accommodation, as the entire region would be prohibited from providing tourist accommodation.
We ask for your understanding in this matter and ask you to carefully consider the risk yourself. There are some insurers who still offer cancellation insurance, even under these circumstances, so you can insure yourself.
